Understand what you recite. Live 1-on-1 Tafsir classes on Zoom with Egyptian Al-Azhar teachers, for teens from age 10 and adults, with no Arabic needed to start.

Many of us recite Al-Fatihah and the short Surahs every day without knowing what they mean. Tafsir is the study of the meaning of the Quran, and once you understand a verse, your Salah and your recitation change.
Your teacher explains each passage in clear English: what the words mean, why the verses were revealed, and what lessons they carry for your life today. Arabic terms are taught alongside, so you start to recognise words in your own recitation.
Classes are live and 1-on-1, so you can ask every question that comes to mind and go deeper into the Surahs that matter most to you.
Each level builds on the one before, from simple meaning to deeper context.
Our four Tafsir books take you step by step. Your teacher adjusts the order and pace to you.
A relaxed 30-minute class. Your teacher asks what you already know and which Surahs you want to understand.
